Hercules Hydraulics are to offer a choice of BFPA Training Courses at their NFPC Approved Satellite Training Centre in South Devon.
In what is thought to be a first for a UK hydraulics distributor, Ryan Langley, General Manager at Hercules Hydraulics has recently achieved the qualification to certify attendees on the BFPA Hose Assembly Skills Training Programme and was presented with his certificate by Martin Kingsbury from the BFPA.
This is an addition to his existing accreditation for the BFPA Foundation Course in Working Safety with Hydraulic Hose and Connectors course and further strengthens the position of Hercules Hydraulics as a training provider in the industry.
The Hose Assembly Skills Training Programme takes candidates through the many techniques and considerations essential for safe production of a quality hose assembly and ultimately leading to installation. This two-day course involves both the theoretical and practical elements in working with hose and connectors.
“Having worked in the industry for over 17 years it is really rewarding to be able to pass on some of the skills I have learnt to others hoping to develop a career in hydraulics,” commented Ryan, “and as we have a fully functional training room at our premises in Devon it will also help us as a company to offer a more complete hydraulic service to customers from all industries.”
“As a hydraulics distributor, who also manufactures a limited range of equipment, I do feel particularly well placed to offer a comprehensive and balanced insight through these BFPA Courses.”
BFPA Training Courses are ideal not only for those who work in the Hydraulic Industry but also for people who work closely with machinery which uses hydraulic power, such as in Construction, Marine, Commercial Transport, Agriculture, Offshore, Renewable Energy, Rail, Mining, and many other industries.
